Something I learned I can do this week.
Cry
Despite the
Dry Ball of anger
snuggled perfectly
in the hollow of my throat
Humming birdlike
heart palpitations
that tickle
lung, breast and nipple
Fury fueled nerve endings
muscles, joints and bones
and heightened senses
Temperature escalates
as fire seeks refuge
in cool-blooded
veins and capillaries
Eyes blush
pupils dialate
the cups nearly full
but as the ball pains
the heart beats and fire blood
creates misty eyes
never will they ever
see
me
cry.
