Gut clenched
heartbeat racing
Stuck on a maniacal roller coaster
Destination: who knows where
eyes tight shut
blinded in fear and
with every corner
fingers are crossed
because there's a possibility of being tossed
Conductor stop the world,
I wanna get off.
Unwillingly buckled into
plastic seats
the ride chugs along
to bad man beats of
crime and big man privates
under six year olds
uniform pleats
no the ride doesn't stop
it keeps on speeding
up the steep trek of the economic climb
and down to a place where the end is not in sight
fingers grip cool metal bars
As we fly loopty loop through dark nights.
No Red light
Or yellow light
Just green light quick
Wizzing and zipping
I’m gonna be sick
From music
The daunting dancehall kind of beat
And rap where lil wayne shrieks
as we take a sharp turn through city streets
Burnt and stained from H.I.V. and illiteracy
climbing
trekking
Oh How i wish
I could get off this
crazy coaster
away from the heat
of this global toaster
faster we plummet
near the depths of hell
but then again
its too soon to tell
So, with our
Gut clenched
heartbeat racing
Stuck on a maniacal roller coaster
Destination: who knows where
Population: Us
with every corner
fingers are crossed
because there's a possibility of being tossed
Conductor stop the world,
I wanna get off.

Calloused inner skin
Streaked with
Dark lines
Each to tell a story
Of his
Once upon a time
On a naked nape,
His hands, his map
travel
left turn, right turn,
One after the other a shiver follows,
into a universe of two globes.
Mystic and delicate
against
Rough and worn
Friction
Both wanted and explosive
pressed
Cradled
Nestled
Lifting higher
Tighter
Just enough
To enter.
Gliding through the
Stratosphere
In there
All lays
Bare
As his grip
conjoins new lines
Hung from a
Thump thump.
Underneath the skeletal
Wrapped in carnal
Phalanges fiddle
to touch heart
to touch hurt
to touch heat.
The presence
In his hands,
holding all of me.
